Creating a pre-amplifier always presents itself as a design challenge especially if the aim is to be proud and worthwhile member of our portfolio of products. Me and my team spent a significant amount of time in finding a way to blend all the best technical and of course sound signature characteristics of our line of all our preamplifiers in the New SC8. As we are in love with tubes and specifically DHT tubes in all our units, SC8 is not an exception to that term.  It is a full blown DHT pre-amplifier where we did not cut any corners, it is without compromise.

CUSTOM DESIGNED TRANSFORMERS

SC8 is made with 4 in-house custom-made state of the art E-Core and M-Core power, ouput and signal transformers, Silver internal wire and true point to point (PTP) construction. No less important is the choice of rectifier and DHT Triodes, where we use the best possible current production tubes TA 300b, which by their performance are the closest to the legendary Western Electric 300b. The sum of clever engineering, selection of best components and meticulous Swiss attention to details gives us an pre-amplifier which meets all the wishes and expectations of even the most critical audiophiles with a potent source.
